REVENANTS is dedicated to the opponents of history that inspire a politics of emancipation and criticism. They are the unredeemed, the unrelieved, who do not give peace because extreme injustice has happened to them, the anti-heroes of history, whose voices do not appear. If there were a collective unconscious, their protagonists would be the REVENANTS. Hamburg choreographer Ursina Tossi awakens figures from history(s) and (pop) culture and illuminates conflicts with patriarchy and capitalist power relations from a feminist perspective.
