What touches us in dance? How does touch create change? How are power structures reflected in touch? And how does touch become political action? In the open Laboratory series TOUCH_LAB, choreographer Ursina Tossi explores touch, radical empathy, and transformation. Participants are encouraged to shift their perspective, move away from themselves, and engage with other bodies and ways of being. They experiment with using, describing, reflecting, and embodying alternative senses.

The monthly TOUCH_LAB invites participants to move, explore artistic practices, and exchange collaborative research. It is part of the research for Ursina Tossi’s next dance piece, which is aimed at blind, visually impaired, and sighted audiences.
